Minn Kota’s powerful E-Drive Electric Outboard motor is perfect for lakes with gasoline restrictions. The quiet 2-hp power plant will move a full-size pontoon boat up to 5 mph with no fumes, no emissions and no messy gasoline. E-Drive can run up to 2 hours at 100% on a single charge, and features a special tilt-lock mechanism for safe and secure trailering. Our bolt-on transom model connects directly to your boat’s standard cable linkage, while the clamp-on mount utilizes Tilt Tiller control.

    Electronic Throttle Control

    Get fingertip control from this ultra-responsive throttle lever, which has forward/neutral/reverse positions and push-button tilt up/down. It mounts either on the binnacle or side mount at the cockpit, and features a key switch for added safety.

    Bolt-on Transom Mount

    Our standard E-Drive motor features a bolt-on transom bracket. The bracket includes a power tilt mechanism and a built-in breakaway mount that protects the motor from underwater hazards.

      We designed a special line of motors for use in salt or brackish water. The Minn Kota Riptide trolling motors have a number of "saltwater-engineered" enhancements, including stainless steel hardware, sealed electrical connections and an advanced painting process for improved corrosion protection. Using any of our standard Minn Kota motors in saltwater may dramatically reduce the life of the motor and voids the manufacturer's warranty. To extend the life of your Minn Kota Riptide saltwater trolling motor, thoroughly rinse the motor with freshwater after every use in saltwater and store indoors. Never leave the motor submerged in saltwater when the boat is moored.
