Minn Kota has added several products to its line of accessories designed to improve convenience for the fisherman.

Riptide Quick Release Brackets

The new Riptide Quick Release Brackets allow anglers to quickly remove and reattach their saltwater bow-mount trolling motor. The low-profile puck design leaves a clear, unobstructed deck when the motor is removed, ideal for fly fishing applications when a bow-mount motor is not used. The locking handle on the bracket can be secured with a padlock (not included). Package includes stainless steel mounting hardware and locking pin. Available adapter plates (RTA-18, RTA-20) allow hole patterns from previously mounted motors or aluminum quick release brackets (RTA-16-02, MKA-42, MKA-52/62) to be used with RTA-17 and RTA-19 composite brackets.

Fisherman’s Temp Sensor

Minn Kota’s Fisherman’s Temp Sensor has a large backlit LCD for accurate readings of water temperature from -58 to 158 degrees F (-50 to 70 degrees C), and air temperature readings from 23 to 122 degrees F (-5 to 50 degrees C). Features include a 23-foot submersible probe and cord, a 12/24-hour clock, and memory storage for minimum and maximum temperature ranges. The Temp Sensor has an oversized sensor housing for easy mounting. It is guaranteed accurate with a 1-year limited warranty and is powered by one AAA battery (included). MSRP: $15.99

Battery Connectors

Minn Kota’s Battery Connectors have a patented design for installing batteries in tight, confined spaces. They provide easy disconnect for quick, convenient charging. The Battery Connectors include plastic covers to eliminate the risk of electrical shock. MSRP: $12.99
