Maximizer Technology
Available on select Minn Kota trolling motors, Maximizer technology has been designed to provide up to five times longer run time on a single battery charge compared to conventional speed coil motors.

Maximizer technology delivers the precise amount of power needed at any speed, along with infinitely variable speed settings. By regulating the amount of current that is delivered to the motors, Maximizer technology offers the most efficient use of battery power.

Cool, Quiet Power
Minn Kota understands an angler’s need to have a trolling motor that operates quietly without overheating, so they designed their motor from the inside out. Compared to competitive brands, the internal components (brushes, windings and commutators) of Minn Kota motors are substantially larger. These larger internal components dissipate heat which results in cooler operation, extended battery power and longer motor life. Minn Kota motors also have a unique bearing system that decreases friction, resulting in a substantial reduction in operating noise.

Composite Shaft
In 2000, Minn Kota demonstrated its confidence in the durability of its composite shaft by offering a lifetime guarantee with the product. Pound for pound, the ultra high-yield composite material has been tested to be three times the strength of steel. The composite material also flexes on impact and then returns to its original position. Used in both freshwater and saltwater applications, Minn Kota’s composite shafts will not break, kink, rust or corrode.

Bowguard 360° Breakaway Mount
Minn Kota’s exclusive Bowguard 360° mount breaks away on impact from any direction, protecting the motor, shaft and boat. In addition, the motor automatically resets itself to provide anglers with uninterrupted fishing.

Weedless Wedge
Designed by the legendary Roland Martin, Minn Kota’s Weedless Wedge is the only prop that is truly 100% weedless. The patented swept-back design of the blades pushes weeds away rather than chopping through heavy vegetation, regardless of speed. This conserves power and extends anglers’ time on the water.

CoPilot
Minn Kota’s CoPilot remote accessory controls speed and steering from anywhere on the boat. CoPilot’s small, wireless remote is similar to an automobile keyless entry. The remote can be mounted on the operator’s belt or wrist, or to his fishing rod handle. It is also completely waterproof and floats should it ever end up going overboard.

The accessory is simply installed by attaching the receiver to the motor’s side plate. CoPilot can be added to any PowerDrive (including AutoPilot) and Riptide models manufactured after 1991.

AutoPilot
Minn Kota’s AutoPilot utilizes a patented, state-of-the-art compass system that locks on to a particular heading and automatically and continuously makes adjustments to keep the boat moving in that direction – even under high wind or chop. AutoPilot allows anglers to spend less time steering and more time catching fish.
