Big waves caused by high winds cancelled the final day of competition at the Professional Walleye Tour (PWT) Regional Event held at Escanaba, Michigan, assuring victory for two-day leader Patrick Neu of Forestville, Wisconsin. This is the first year for the Minn Kota Pro on the PWT circuit and his first victory propelled him to Rookie of the Year honors for 2006. Neu finished with a total weight of 46.39 to edge out fellow Minn Kota Pro Tom Riley of Amery, Wisconsin. Neu earned $46,000 in cash and prizes for the win.

Neu’s tournament boat is rigged with Minn Kota’s Maxxum Pro 101 (lb of thrust) and Engine Mount 101 (lb of thrust) trolling motors.
