Despite temperatures that topped out at 105 degrees, Minnesota professional fisherman Mark Courts won his first Professional Walleye Trail (PWT) Regional Event by boating a five-fish limit on each day of the competition. Courts finished with a total weight of 42.62 pounds to capture the win by a mere one-half pound. The tournament was at Lake Oahe near Mobridge, South Dakota. For the victory Courts received $54,294 (including a new walleye boat).

Courts's boat is equipped with a Minn Kota Maxxum Pro 101 bow-mount trolling motor, Minn Kota's EM (engine mount) 101 trolling motor and MK 440 battery charger.
