Minn Kota Pros Mark Courts and Tommy Skarlis finished first and second respectively at the Pro Walleye Tour’s (PWT) 2008 Championship held on Saginaw Bay out of Bay City, Mich. Courts, grabbed top honors out of the field of the world’s 50 best walleye anglers by weighing in a three day total of 39.53 pounds. Skarlas had to settle for second with a total of 35.35 pounds. The victory netted Courts, from Harris, Min., cash and prizes valued at over $60,000.

Courts, who is also sponsored by Cannon downriggers, uses a Minn Kota Terrova 101 with Auto Pilot and Universal Sonar 2. He also has a Minn Kota Engine Mount 101 electric motor mounted on his outboard. When he trolls, he uses two Cannon Mag 20 DT/HS downriggers.

Skarlis mounts a Maxxum Pro 101 on the bow of his boat, a Vantage on the transom and a Minn Kota Engine Mount 101 on his outboard. Skarlis is also a member of the Hummbird pro team and uses an 1197c SI Combo, 797c SI Combo and a 997c SI Combo.
