Finishing with a whopping three-day total of 101 pounds, 13 ounces, Minn Kota Pro Dean Arnoldussen took first place in the FLW Walleye tournament held near Trenton, Michigan. It’s the third career victory of the FLW Walleye circuit for the Appleton, Wisconsin, native. Arnoldussen sited his ability to troll at a specific speed using his Minn Kota Engine Mount trolling motors as one of the keys to his success. The victory netted Arnoldussen $34,924 in prize and contingency money.
Arnoldussen’s tournament boat is rigged with Minn Kota’s 101 Engine Mount and Fortrex 101 trolling motors. He also utilizes several Minn Kota onboard battery chargers and accessories, as well as Humminbird fishfinders.
