Fishing in his home state of Florida, Peter E. Thliveros captured first place in the Citgo Bassmaster Tour event held on the Harris Chain of Lakes. The 44-year-old Thliveros brought in 19 pounds, 15 ounces of fish on the last day to earn the $100,000 first prize. The Minn Kota Pro from Jacksonville also won the Busch Heavyweight award for the final day catch and received an additional $2,000. This is the fourth victory for Peter T on the BASS circuit, his last win coming in 1997. Thliveros uses the new Minn Kota Maxxum Pro (with Lift-Assist) 101 lb trolling motor with Universal Sonar.
