Longtime and highly successful Minn Kota Pro Team member David Fritts moved from sixth place to first on the last day of the FLW tour event at Lake Guntersville in Alabama. After catching only three bass on day three, the North Carolinian brought in a five-fish sack weighing 23 pounds, 13 ounces on the final day to capture first place. Fritts’ victory netted him a $200,000 check in purse and contingency prizes. It was the tenth tour level victory for the 52-year-old Fritts.
Fritts’ tournament boat is rigged with a Minn Kota Fortrex 101 with Universal Sonar 2. He is also equipped with a MK 460, 4-bank on-board battery charger.
